CA DREAMers - Have anyone received their Cal Grants?

Has any CA DREAMers receive a Cal Grants for a UC?

I applied to UCSD, UCB and UCLA and they are all releasing their decisions late April...

If you have received them please post so we can all gauge the likelihood of CA DREAMers getting Cal Grants.

I believe you can check the Cal Grants status here: https://mygrantinfo.csac.ca.gov/

Thanks! :)

Hey SD23 glad to see someone in my situation here. I just received my acceptance to UCI just waiting on UCLA too which should be mid April I was told by their admissions representative the last time I met with him. Were suppose to hear back on the CAdream Act on May 1 .

Not yet, all I've received so far is the Regents scholarship that is listed on my UCI admissions portal. It says on the Dream Act Website that if you applied by the march 2 deadline, were suppose to hear back on May 1st .

Currently at UCB and receive enough to cover tuition and housing expenses. Make sure you filled out the California DREAM act application and you will receive up to 12k per semester depending on you EFC.

My EFC was around 2k. I think it varies by school (the amount you receive is determined by your schools fin aid office) but at the very least you should receive enough for tuition and books.

nice, Im still waiting to hear back from CSAC. Hopefully everything goes well and Ill just have to submit my SIR . Quick question, do you know if you have to submit an SIR first then you'll find out how much aid you will be receiving or do you have to wait till May 1st like it says on the CSAC website?
