ok i am piss here.
As you know life is not fair. i am not a dreamer. i am LEGAL E2 immigrant .
please answer my question Why is the comprehensive immigration reform all about illegal immigrants? What about all the legal immigrants that are here for many years and don't have an opportunity to apply for a Green Card? What about those of us who invested money to start a business, pay taxes, create jobs for Americans and still don't have a pathway to a Green Card that would lead to Citizenship? Should those who are doing everything according the rules get punished by excluding them from the comprehensive immigration reform? Why are children from legal immigrants excluded from the dream act and only children from illegal immigrants can apply? Why should immigrants even come legal into this country and invest a lot of time and money when they see how many illegal immigrants are getting even a better opportunity? |

Re: ok i am piss here.
That's what they are debating on right now, the amount of time it takes for a GC/Citizenship.
in b4 lock. |
Re: ok i am piss here.
Your premise is that life should be fair and you know that's not how it works. America loves rewarding the bold, the brave, and the innovative, and most of the illegal immigrants that come to this country fall under the first two categories. Capitalism, fuck yeah! Stop being 'piss'.

Re: ok i am piss here.
As mentioned before,I don't think anyone would have an issue adding children of legal non-immigrant visa holders provided they meet the very same requirements of age, length of residence and educational or military credentials to qualify.Children of Legal non-citizens who themselves have derivative visas at least have a possible avenue of changing status inside the United States, undocumented children do not.

Re: ok i am piss here.
okay when you say illegal aliens you are also talking about the people like YOU who entered this country legally and STAY pass their allowed time. you do know a good portion of illegal aliens CAME legally in the first place right?

Re: ok i am piss here.
Like you said, life is not fair. However, as a legal immigrant, you have had and will have many more opportunities than the rest of us. You have had the benefits of being legal in this country. You have had the opportunity to go out of the country and visit your relatives in your home country, something we can only do in our dreams. You have also had the right to work legally and been able to enjoy the benefits you are entitled to. You have been able to drive your vehicles without the fear of being stopped and have your vehicle impounded or being arrested. I can go on and on, but I'm sure you get the idea. Right now, discussion of an immigration reform is just politics. Nobody knows if it will pass.

Re: ok i am piss here.
listen i just want green card...... to be honest, i would rather be illegal immigrant and work minimum wage for 5 years and then get green card. I spent a lot of money for green card. Now.
i am not sure that i will be able to get it :( |
Re: ok i am piss here.
I don't know if you are trolling or not, but you seriously do not know what you are talking about if you are serious. Heck, we do not even know if we will qualify for green cards. Like I said, immigration reform is in its infancy right now and nobody knows if it will pass. So enjoy your legal status and look for ways to get a green card, I'm sure you have many more options than we currently do.
