Omg so this means I can't apply for any type of status because I claimed us citzenship in an i-9 form when I was 18 years old in November 2011 ((((((((( I didn't know claiming USC was a bad thing when I put it on a I- 9 form I thought I was a citizen (((

I-9s don't get filed anywhere. They are only filled out in case ICE decides to raid a given work place.

As long as no one knows you can still file for status and hope that thing never surfaces up.

Relax. This is too early to start worrying about things like this. This immigration system is a total mess. There is no guarantee that they'll be able to catch that you actually did that. Maybe you did it by mistake. If anything just get a good immigration lawyer with a proven track record and he/she will find a way around this. This system is a total debacle as we speak. As long as you're not a felon, I don't think you should jump to any conclusions. Felons will be kicked out of this country before they know what struck them..make no mistake.

the problem is this CIR would make employers actually file their I-9s, there is going to be a lot of control and monitoring now. And the penalties are huge.
