Current Senators Supporting "Dream Act"
 

:?: Does anyone know how many senators (D) and (R) are supporting the Dream Act as of now? :?:
Just the one that have said..Yes, I support the DREAM ACT. That will cast a vote in Favor.

Thanks Lutier2008 for the list. Looks like we count with a pretty good number of co-sponsors at this time. I live in SC and I don't see Jim Demint as a possible co-sponsor but I do see Graham as a possible co=sponsor. When i wrote to both of them, they said they would keep the Dream Act in mind whenever it comes to the senate floor, but didn't say they would oppose or support it. So I hope they will support it.

I don't think we could have any problems trying to pass the Dream Act if it comes to a vote.

my senator isakson from georgia said that he couldnt vote for anything that would give free efucation to illegals.......talk about a so called ill informed elected official.

I feel sorry for that senator. He said he's not voting for anything that would give free education to illigals, Dream act is not free. We still have to pay for college. the only thing we are asking is give us a good SS # so we can apply for college.

It would be nice if you could enlighten Issakson. I have a feeling that anti-dream people are misguiding some senators. It would work in our favor if we could enlighten the misinformed. Also, if we could only draw the attention to not punishing minors for their parents mistake..instead of giving us instate tuition, we would get more sympathetic people on our side...just my thought..
