Immigration reform protesters waving Mexican flags...again

So here I am enjoying my breakfast and I see on the news that people were protesting for immigration reform. I see an American flag and think "good...it looks like they learned their lesson", but then the camera cuts to not one but two Mexican flags being waved along with people wearing colors of the Mexican flag. Who is organizing these things? Are they mentally ill?

I agree. My loyalty is with the one and only country I grew up with. And that's the United States of America. Been here since I was 2 years old. If they told me I would have to renounce my mexican citizenship to be an American citizen I would do it in a heartbeat.

I cringed when I saw a picture of this in my local newspaper.

I would never renounce my Mexican citizenship, ever! I will be forever a Mexican and very very proud of it. But I do love the USA and I would die protecting this country and its values which it stands for. You guys say that because you don't know how it is to live in Mexico. I will go back to Mexico in the near future.

It is difficult to have pride of a country you do not remember. At least, for me. My home and my country are right here.

Needless to say we need more red, white, and blue flags. -___-
