Got my DL after almost 10 years of driving w/o one.
 

When DACA was announced last year in June I had just barely turned 26 four days prior to Obama's announcement. 10 years before the announcement my dad and I traveled to many different dmvs throughout the state of CA hoping to get me an ID/DL but due to my status I couldnt. I applied for DACA in setpember and got approved in April and got my DL last week on Tuesday. Thanks to DACA I can now feel peace of mind on the road . Its been a long road but im glad i never gave up!

How many times have you been pulled over in those 10 years? Or had any accidents?

I have never been pulled over or had any accidents. I have been working and driving since I was 19 years old. I turn 27 next month

I can't wait to have that feeling. The only difference is that I have never driven a car.

I've been driving for 6 years with no dl. Pulled over once but no tickets were given, cop was nice enough to let me go. Got lucky that time.
