GUY'S BOMBARD THE ARMY WI/ THIS "[email protected]

THE DREAM ACT WILL HELP MEET PRESIDENT BUSH'S EXPANSION OF ARMED FORCES POLICY
Joining and serving in the United States Armed Services has been a way for individuals to raise themselves through the ranks of American Society. The American Society is a melting pot of different: ethnicities, nationalities, and cultures. The United States of America is deemed to be the place of opportunity. “We are the land of opportunity” United States Senator, Edward Kennedy has said in one of his pro-immigrant rights speech. “Our streets may not be paved with gold but they are paved with the promise that men and women who live here, even strangers and newcomers, can rise as fast, as far as their skills will all allow”.
The current Iraqi War has been the first protracted war experienced by an all volunteer armed service in the United States. This war has put particular strains on the United States Armed Ground Forces. The branch of Armed Services that has been particularly affected is the United States Army and Marine Corp. These two branches have sustained the more causalities than any other military branch. The Bush Administration is aware of the particular strain the United States Armed Services is experiencing. In his 2007 State of the Union Speech President Bush, asked congress to for their approval to increase the size and strength of the Army and Marine Corp. The policy that President Bush wants congress to enact speaks to having an expansion of the United States to 547,000 soldiers and a Marine Corp of 202,000 by 2012.
Military Recruiters are restricted to enlisting either a Legal Permanent Resident (i.e. Green Card Holder) or a Citizen of the United States. However, each year in the United States approximately 65,000 undocumented students graduate high school. The majority of these undocumented high school graduates are children of Latino parents who migrated to the United States but are unable to join the Army, because of their legal status. These groups of undocumented young high school graduates are smart and talented individuals who are ready to wear the uniform and proudly serve and implement our foreign policy.
The Dream Act will recruit more soldiers into the Armed Services of the U.S.A.; every 65,000 potential graduates graduate from our high schools. We are asking for your assistance in passing the Dream Act, the legislation may come up for a vote as soon as 09/24/07, this piece of legislation will put more young talented men and women into a uniform. In addition, these soldiers would proudly serve and defend this country. The Dream Act is a rational choice for helping meet President's Bush, "expansion policy" of our Armed Forces.
Thank You,
HELP INFLUENCE THE SENATE TO PASS THE DREAM ACT!!!
