Re: Congressman: Senate immigration bill unconstitutional
Steve Stockman respresents the 36th congressional district in Texas which is the Southeast portion of the state and one of the most racist. It includes includes all of Newton, Jasper, Tyler, Polk, Orange, Hardin, Liberty, and Chambers counties, plus portions of southeastern Harris County.[3]
He'll probably hold his seat for a while because well, when the guy is representing a city like Jasper where white guys dragged a black man to his death along with other things that go on there, that should tell you about the voters there, but there is no excuse for having hardline Republicans in the other areas of the state with high Hispanic populations. |
Re: Congressman: Senate immigration bill unconstitutional
So how likely will this happen?
I find it crazy that a minority of racist, ass-backwards politicians can hinder such a landmark piece of legislation. |
Re: Congressman: Senate immigration bill unconstitutional
Ive heard about this but didn't know a lot. Well, quite frankly it seems there is more things that can be done to oppose it than helping it

Re: Congressman: Senate immigration bill unconstitutional
