Help my status went from approved to initial Review
 

I was approved on June 18 after 6 months of waiting
While I was waiting I move back to my old address
Uscis sent my deferred action approval letter to my lawyers office
And my Eda approval letter to my old address
Anyways I called uscis and explain my situation so they did an address
Change on July 1 today I receive text saying they change my address
But my case change to initial review as well.
I have both approval letters though what's going to happen I'm I still
Approve or not I'm confused

Btw I never received my ead card bc my card got send bbk to uscis

I think it went back to initial review because of your address change but im not certain. I'm sure someone here knows more about it.

why didnt you contact them when you moved? I highly doubt you moved on the day you were approved. your fault for not being responsible and submitting address change. Or why couldnt you just pick up the mail from your old house? Hopefully, you are not in intial review for a long time.

Sounds like you are still approved since you have approval letters and that online system got messed up with address change. Did USCIS tell you they would mail EAD to updated address?

Yes when I called they told me that the where going to do a service request to send me another card but first update my address

Then you should be OK. If you are really worried you could always call up to verify the card is being sent to you soon.

FYI, my sisters status was approved, received her card then after a week her online status was updated to initial review, then to RFE. We simply ignored the online status because she had EAD in her hand. Your case however is different i guess because you never received your EAD because it got sent back.... I am thinking its just online glitch.

Update my original card was sent to my current address today
I called uscis and they told me I was still approved they are just verifying my address
So happy I have my card in my Hands after all I been throw :)

in every letter they send, every time you call them. whatever it is, they ALWAYS tell you to let them know BEFORE you are moving/changing address. To avoid problems like this. Call them and email them about it. they will fix it for you.
