Urgent Help Needed
Hi guys, sadly I got an RFE some weeks ago and I received it yesterday, I'm being asked proof of residency for the years 2009 and 2010. Back in 2009 I used to live in an apartment, the neighborhood was nice when we moved in but eventually deteriorated someone broke in and stole a really nice HD tv.
We called 911 and I was the one that spoke with the police I told my name and everything. this was back in 2009 so how can i request this information? Also the apartment company that my parents made the renting contract with basically vanished I went there and tried to get some records of me living there but the new company told me they didn't have any of those records because the new owner don't have them? Is that bs? I really don't know. How can I locate those apartment records? or is it impossible? I used a apartment record from 2008 and 2011-2012 and they were good enough, so it would really help me to find the them. Thank you in advance!! Btw I love you guys, you're all always so helpful. if it wasn't for this forum I would gone mad already! |
Re: Urgent Help Needed
Go to your township office or borough office and request for police record. I am sure they will help you. Good luck.

Re: Urgent Help Needed
For the rent contracts, locate the name of the old management company and look them up online. Apartment complexes rotate management very often.

Re: Urgent Help Needed
But I will be using a notarized letter from my old Landlord to covert both years 2009/2010 he works at a real state agency or something. Do you guys think that will be enough? I really hope so.

Q1: May I file affidavits as proof that I meet the guidelines for consideration of deferred action for childhood arrivals? A1: Affidavits generally will not be sufficient on their own to demonstrate that you meet the guidelines for USCIS to consider you for deferred action for childhood arrivals. However, affidavits may be used to support meeting the following guidelines only if the documentary evidence available to you is insufficient or lacking: A gap in the documentation demonstrating that you meet the five year continuous residence requirement; and i think you might be in the clear, remember that you have to send more than 2 affidavits though! |

Re: Urgent Help Needed
When I sent in my affidavits, I made certain my supportive evidence was included. For example, in my affidavit, the letter states my aunt leased the apartment with her name so she would check we paid the rent on time in a monthly bases. Her name was indeed in the contract and the census record I sent had her as head of household. Make certain citizens or residents write the word "continously" alot and that they knew you as a tenant in the specific adress where you lived.
