They did close the Irvine campus on our end (Cal State Fullerton other campus) do to the bad conditions in the area at the moment.

Damn. Just ash, though, right? Nobody here has lost their home?

They are trying to blame the dream act for the fires.

Naw I'm actually surprise there's no fires in our area since I'm right next to the mountains (Azusa Canyons) a few years ago we had the fires about a mile away from here :/

well i live near the downtown area so i guess im pretty safe, but yep the sky is deffenetly falling! .. ok back to calling .. im lagging people should do the same!

I was able to come back home earlier this morning. It looks like an eclipse outside; everything's has a sepia look to it. A lot of people are still stuck at the church with nowhere to go. A lot were freaking out cus they saw ICE agents going around everywhere. It turns out that they became part of the evacuation efforts. Also, FEMA has offered to help those who have lost their homes; victims should be getting their money in a couple years :P

I seriously saw some alicrapper blaming the fires on illegal aliens
