Question on obtaining a fishing license [Wisc]
I was recently approved for deferred action along with my authorization to work. I always wanted to go fishing, but the state of Wisconsin requires SSN. I will have that soon also. I recently checked there's other qualifications to go with like proof of being a Wisconsin resident or U.S. citizen. There's a non resident/citizen option, but I'm not sure how to approach that. Can I use my mexico passport or the SSN number that will be given to me?
Does anyone have experience on getting an outdoors recreational license or have any advice? Do I have the documents to get one? I don't want to make a mistake that put my status in jeopardy. Here's the Wisconsin link to purchase a fishing license online. https://jc.activeoutdoorsolutions.co...blic/goHome.do |
Re: Question on obtaining a fishing license [Wisc]
by 'Wisconsin resident' I think it means that you reside in the state for a period of time, same concept as continuous presence, so you'd have to show utility bills etc. As far as I can tell you should be safe to apply for 'DNR Customer Number'
