How do guys feel..

well like when having your gf drive you (those who have gf and those who don't, well imagine please)

how do you or would you guys feel...??

i am curious...

i mean... it's typical to have the guy drive and pick up the girl but like vice-versa??...

now I am gonna have a couple of minutes more to get ready lol..

As a girl, I can't even begin to imagine how you guys feel.
I knew a guy who was in this situation who would rather NOT date bc of this little problem. :-( His gf lived far (30-45 min) from him, and his mom was the only one who had a DL and could give him rides. :(

Well, being a girl, I would say that if my guy really needs me to help him get around because he's illegal, I wouldn't mind driving him to places. It's not as if he doesn't want to drive, it's cuz he can't drive. Just be nice to the girl and she'll be happy to drive you around.

When you're a nice and understanding person like me, you don't need a car. 8)

Honestly though, I have a car and a DL and I'd never pick up a girl in a car in New York because I'd have to be semi-psychotic to spend three hours looking for a parking spot in Manhattan. So don't feel bad.

Besides, buses and trains allow you to have free hands to...ummm...use.

Not having a car, or not even being able to drive was one of the reasons why I didn't date that much when I was in high school. Well, it is still one of the reasons why I don't date more now. In my last relationship, I pretty much had to depend on my girlfriend to go out with her. It feels weird. It sucked because I couldn't just surprise her by taking her somewhere new or not being able to just go to her house. She always had to come to mine. I hate having to depend on people even my girlfriend, so I use to hate to depend on her just to go out to dinner.

I agree with J6, you have to be crazy to go out on a date with you car in New York, but if you live in places where the transportation system is not as good as New York's than its not as simple to go out on dates. Your girlfriend would have to be really understanding, and some girls tend not to be if they haven't experienced our situation.

awww... :)

See, where I live, it would suck for any guy... public transportation is HORRIBLE... you really can't get anywhere withour a car.

Ughh this is probably 70% of the reason I dont currently date. In high school it was different because 95% of people didnt have a car and we were mostly all under 18 so no r rated movies, strip clubs etc. whatever else thats needed an ID anyway. Now that we have moved on its like do you have a car yet? Me: No I have been going to school full time etc. so I dont have a job... and make up some bullshit. Sucks big ****.

Not that I couldn't find someone, but it would pretty much suck for both of us. I mean no matter how understanding the person, it gets to a certain point where its like okay, this isn't working.

I live in LA so a car here is a NECESSITY. :x

I understand how you guys feel though. I don't date either because of my status and numerous of other reasons. In SF, it's not a big deal if I don't have a car. Taking the bus is great and cheap. LA has an okay public transportation system though, so why not use it? NYC too!

Really, the city is a friend to illegals..

^ Well I actually live outside of LA so not downtown or anything. I think it is sort of different for a girl though, since they expect guys to drive them around... (well most of the time anyway)

Lol I don't expect a guy to drive me anywhere... I can get to places fine by myself without the help of some guy
