Omg I got a txt and email saying they ordered my EAD!!

My DACA is still in initial review tho!! Is that normal??

OMG my heart is beating a million miles per second!!!! Am I seeing the light at the end of the tunnel??

Yep Congrats! Typically its either DACA or employment authorization that is approved first, then the other one soon after (usually the next day maybe)

Just wait to get your approval letters + EAD then go apply for a social.

Congrats!, yes not to worry, once your Card is in production, it means you are set, just a matter of time. Happy to see another dreamer get approved

Sorry to burst the bubble. But SSAO are closed until the shutdown is over. As far as I have heard. Congrats on his approval though.

I did get approved!! The txt and email came this morning!!
I am..am speechless. This was my last ditch effort. Too long in the shadows, I can hardly believe it.
I'll say a prayer for all of those who've been waiting for a long time. Your time will come.

And about SS, I knew and it doesn't put a damper at all on my excitement. I got approved!! This shutdown wont last more than a week so if I have to wait a bit longer, I'll gladly do that.
