ill be moving to Texas soon and i want to attend college there. on their websites it says that individuals with deferred action are eligible to apply for in state tuition after living there for 12 consecutive months but it does not specify which category of deferred action and i looked everywhere.. does anyone know anything about this. and the colleges i have contacted seem to have no knowledge of deferred action although it is listed on their website

How many categories of deferred action are there? The rule is the same as it is for citizens who move to the state - they have to establish residency for a year before they can get in state tuition.

'Deferred Action' is 'Deferred Action',there aren't any different 'types' the differing categories whether something like C14 or C33 is pretty much the same thing but just different circumstances in which the individual got it.

It is the same BS with Arizona,Individuals with C33 permits could not get ID but individuals who had C14 Category permits could still gain a Driver's license.
