Approval w/reckless driving?
 

Hello. Im searching for some answers for someone close to me.

I reviewed lots of posts and there was one woman who was approved for DACA with reckless driving but her original charge was DUI. I was wondering if anyone had any more information or also the same situation.

The person close to me did have DUI charge, dropped down to reckless driving - one year probation and will need to take a driving class (not AA class).

I know in all places discussin guide lines and DUI you would be out. But a few things I have read along with hearing the one woman was approved sounds like it may depend on the conviction rather than the original charge.

I know you all might say 'it's discretionary' and I know this and thank you but I was just wondering if there was anyone out there who was approved or denied with a situation like the person I know. I did try to message the woman who was approved and am awaiting a response.

I got a reckless driving charge in Feb 2012 and I was approved a year later, however mine wasn't for DUI it was just for speeding (did 96 in a 65, dumb I know)

I had probation for a year and I still got approved
