NEED HELP: Forgot to send pics for Advance Parole
 

Hi guys,

Sorry if I'm posting in the wrong thread or something, but this is an emergency:

I applied for Advance Parole for DACA for humanitarian reasons. My grandmother is very sick. I sent all the documentation:
- Application
- Check
- DACA approval notice (copy)
- Employment Authorization Notice (copy)
- Copy of my drivers license, SSN, EAD
- Letter explaining why I needed the AP for humanitarian reasons
- Letter from my grandmother's doctor explaining her situation
- Evidence from my grandmother's medical records and even my birth certificate and baptism certificate that shows that we're related.

I sent my documents on January 6th and USCIS received it my documents on January 8th and they already cashed the check. Now that I'm always checking my Case Status on the USCIS website I decided to read the instructions over again.

I forgot to send my 2 passport pictures.

For a minute, I thought that I would have to do Biometrics and get my fingerprints and picture taken at the USCIS office, so it never really crossed my mind that I would need to send passport pictures along with my application.

I'm planning on calling on Monday morning and talk to an immigration officer and see if they're able to expedite my case. The dates that I chose were March 12th - March 19th, and those are the ONLY dates that I'm allowed to take off from work. I don't know if this would be a valid reason or the fact that I have to buy my tickets in advance and they're already WAY too expensive (almost $600-$700 roundtrip, and I'm going to Colombia by the way).

I'm so scared if I wait for the RFE letter it will be too late.

Has this happened to anyone?? How did you fix the situation?? Were you able to get the AP on time?

Please help out if you have any information.

relax. good news is you dont need passport pics for AP. unless its a 2014 new rule. i didnt send pp pictures. just everything you got bulleted above.

I guess every case is different because I send pp pictures when I apply for Ap and my pictures where place on my Ap document

I called USCIS today and they sent the request to expedite my case, that way I can send the pictures with the RFE letter. The lady on the phone did confirm that the application needs pictures. I'm hoping everything goes smoothly and that I hear back from the Vermont Service Center soon.

Pictures are only for people aoutside of the US. Hope u read the app carefully.

It says on the instructions if you are outside of the US or if you are in the US you need to submit the 2 pictures. That's why I missed that part while reading the instructions, I thought it only applied for people outside of the country.
