I did, applied last week online, received my card today. I put my current info. This was my second credit card, the first was a capital one.

Why do you keep saying this ??? A credit decision is not based on YOUR referral. It's based on creditworthiness, and individual circumstances. The only thing you are looking for is the incentive. ...

Did you get an immediate response ? Or did you have to wait a couple of days to get a decision

I have to agree with jays. It's ok to note that your referral may have incentive to both you and the person using it (e.g., I think some banks give $50 to both parties) but I'd like to see evidence to the claim that a referral link will have an effect on their decision to give people a credit card.

Of course I want the incentive
And who told you the referral especially from someone with superior credit doesn't SLIGHTLY affect the credit decision? Are you a credit analyst? And the person who gets approved also gets a matching incentive so hit me up!

I definitely know it has a slight effect..not that big of an effect but definitely a small one. But overall it is your own credit history and credit worthiness that will decide whether you get the card or not, no question about that.

Yes, I am.

It's ok if you want the incentive, just dont mislead people. The only way your referral would have an impact on a person's application, is if, you co-apply.
