VICE Documentary

This documentary completely broke my heart, but I thought I would share. It made all my worries feel completely irrelevant and I almost feel a bit selfish for expecting so much from this country. I could easily end up in a position like theirs and I have no idea what I would do. Definitely made me appreciate the fact that I live here and have been granted DACA. I know we have dreamers from all over the world on this site, but I thought I would share anyways. Trying to keep this short as I don't want to sound like too much of an emotional girl here.. :)

Watch HERE.

I had seen that before and definitely remember feeling very grateful for all that I have, from basic necessities like a solid roof over my head, a bed, and a warm meal, to more complex human needs like having a job, going to school, being able to engage in leisure activities and having social support. We are very lucky! It's all about having the perspective to appreciate what we have instead of focusing on what we lack
