AB 60, secondary review

Hi guys! I was wondering if anyone had any information on the 'secondary referral' process associated with AB 60 driver licenses. For most of 2014 I gathered every single document I could (school transcripts for almost 5 years, bank statements, birth certificate and valid passport both with certified translations, letters, various mail with address and so much more) basically all the paper trail of my life in the US possible. I paid for and took my written test which I passed on January 12th. DMV also took my prints and my DL/ID picture so I was besides myself with joy internally thinking it was a done deal until they told me I couldn't move foward with scheduling my driving test until I attended and was cleared from a 'secondary review' which involves getting my identity verified at a separated interview with DMV investigating team.

I rushed to make said appointment as soon as I was out of the DMV and I was told that they are currently NOT making appointments and that I will receive a letter in the mail with further instructions . When I inquired I was told it could take anywhere from A MONTH TO TWO MONTHS to receive this letter.. :/ Also will have to wait for a SECOND letter for further action even AFTER aforementioned appointment is done and I'm approved (assuming).

I'm so confused.
Who the fuck would even try to take on the identy of an illegal immigrant?

Has anyone else been through this Second review process?
I live in CALIFORNIA
Peace, love, and immigration fairy dust!

Hi there!
I'm also in the same situation,
My biggest what!!!!? DVD was when the lady said there is was someone with a name so similar to mine, and that person has "record" she mentioned that is not you because I already saw, but here is you DL209.
Last week I took my daughter to do her writing test, and I noticed that the person who helped her was on charge of verifying the papers and she was the one saying "yes, or not" according to the documents presented, I asked her, (likely I had with me all the papers I presented on Jan-12 my app day) so she said that if some one who's issued a DL209 can't go further, meaning they can't take a picture or to do the test, she also metioned that the whole process is kinda new to them, she looked me up woth the DL number and said to me I don't see what the problem was, go a head and shchedule your driving test. I called and my app was given to me, if there it was something in the system that could prevent me for that specific appointment and it was given to me. But I also have being calling to the 916 number, but is always busy.

Good luck

You need to get the affidavit of undertaking at the phil consulate. Check the web for more info/requirement/fee.

I had the same issue and i dont know what to do. I brought my passport, birth certificate, my lease contract too. I took the test and passed but i was told to call the 855 number and my application was put to secondary review. I dont know what to do next. As far as im concerned all the requirement needed i was able to produce. they said my birth certificate looks funky because it was yellow. And that the barcode on it doesnt scan. How will it scan if they dont have the same system anyways. This is just ridiculous. Help!

hi, I read all your comments and I was wondering if anyone of you know how I can get an affidavit of undertaking. I'm new to all of this and a little confuse too. After I passed my written test they said I have to wait for the investigating office to call or mail me to verify my identity but it has been almost 60days since I went to DMV. The number they gave me to call is always busy. Is there another number I can call?

Hi. My hubby passed his test but was referred to secondary review. He brought his passport, birth certificate with cert of undertaking from phil consulate and his bank statement. I dunno why he needs secondary review. Can he show his documents to another dmv office? I was arguing with the lady at dmv that he brought everything that was listed on the ab60docs. What more do they want?
