daca renewal 2 years or 3 years?

so i read that they were extending the 2 year period to 3 for new applicants starting on 2/18/15.

my question is for those of us that have to renew soon or are sending our apps this month. will our EAD be renewed for 3 years?

The 3 year DACA is already being issued and has been since the November announcement.

Expanded DACA removes the age limit and shortens the time you have to be present in the US to qualify.

Wow! I've been waiting till February 18th to send the revised application thinking it was needed to get the 3yrs instead of 2. Now I'm freaking out. Sending my package out tomorrow

Update: Due to a federal court order, USCIS will not begin accepting requests for the expansion of DACA on February 18 as originally planned. The court's temporary injunction, issued February 16, does not affect the existing DACA. Individuals may continue to come forward and request an initial grant of DACA or renewal of DACA under the guidelines established in 2012 and discussed below. Please check back for updates.

So, according to the update, people who granted two years renewal, can they still apply the extension to three years?
