My daca case not found?
 

My ead expires on feb 26 2015. I sent my application in September and had my biometrics done in October. When I tried looking for my case status through my WAC or A number, it shows all the info from the first time my daca was approved. I called my lawyer who submitted a request, but still haven't heard anything back. I haven't received a letter from uscis or an email. I was wondering if this occurred to anyone else? My attorney said worst case they will resubmit the application but then I'll be well expired.

Have you called USCIS customer service directly? Give them your Alien# and they should be able to assist.

the lady said "due to technical difficulties they could not find my LIN number, and call back in 2 hours. If i received a receipt from USCIS and an appointment to due my biometrics, how can they not find my application? There has to be record of my case somewhere. this is just really making me nervous

Doesn't your biometrics appointment letter have the LIN# ?

Yes and I gave her those numbers, and she said it was technical difficulties, but online when I enter that number is says it can't be found.

so i called today with all of my receipt numbers and dates, and spoke to an officer. he said he was looking at the same documents i had at hand and that they DID receive everything. He told me that right now they are processing applications from september 4th, and mine was received on september 23rd. Once they get to sept 23rd they will review mine and make a decision. So i was relieved that everything was fine, but then he said 90 days for my EAD. is it really 90 days after they approve my DACA? last time i received it within 2 days of it being approved.

Yes that's correct. Official USCIS rules say another 90 days from DACA approval for EAD approval. But it's always printed within a few days after daca approval. Nobody here has mentioned EAD taking another 90 days. Good luck

Its good that you are being proactive but if you have a lawyer, he should be following up!
