Denied daca
 

Good Morning,

This morning I received an email that my sister's case was denied after an RFE . They had requested proof of presence for June 15 and she sent affidavits and a letter from our church priest.

However, the notification does not say the reason why so I am waiting for her to receive the letter since I don't want to torture her with no information at all. It also says the letter will have the options she has.

Has anyone had this happen to them ? can you reapply?

It happened to me, I was sent an RFE as well, I sent what they required from me and they denied my case because they said the did not received it on time. I reapplied in December my application was sent to the California service center and I am currently waiting for the decision... What service center is working on your sisters case?

Her case was being handled by Nebraska.

Did you reapply with a lawyer? Im looking for answers before I tell her Such sad news.

My first application was made by an attorney the second one I did it myself.
But before your sister applies again make sure you have all the right paperwork otherwise she may get denied again.

interesting. i had no proof of presence of june 15 or any date of that month and i got approved. was it for 2007 or 2012? i only had one day for 2007 and it was in december. mine was in nebraska.

Racer X - Really? I guess then it all depends on the person working on your case. The proof they wanted was for june 2012 and I guess the affidavits were not enough.

your sister can reapply.
I got denied back in 2014 for having online HS diploma. so I reapply with GED and got approved last month.
don't worry. try to find something around June 15th.

its hard to know why. i thought that would be the biggest problem too!!! i was so relieved by it. i had something from may the 7th of may i think. that was the closest date.
