More evidence for AP

Hello, I saw a lot people posting that they applied for Advance Parole and were approved. This motivated me to finally give it try. I applied mid March and around the first week of April I checked the status online and said they were reviewing it. I looked up my case once more today and it says it had been denied because I needed more proof. Ugh! I honestly thought my evidence was sufficient enough. I wanted to travel to Mexico for Humanitarian Reasons. My grandmother is suffering from Cancer and I really want to be there for her. I have yet to see what more evidence they need to see for my case to get approved.

Did you apply on your own by any chance? I don't want to start a new ap thread?

Back in 2013, I applied for AP with a reason very similar to yours, was asked for RFE, and then finally approved. The whole process, including RFE took about two months, and I traveled to my homeland country for just over a month without any trouble. I am not sure why your case was denied instead of being put aside until more solid evidence is provided.
