Biometrics Walk in???
 

Hello i recently got my biometrics appointment for JUly 30th the thing is i have to travel to new orleans for a family related problem the previous day would it be possible for me to just walk in and see if they can take my biometrics will this affect my process at all if i were to do it?

You shouldn't have a problem walking in before your appointment date

It really depends on the location, which you choose to do your walk in, and the staffs who are working at that branch. Back then when I had to do the biometrics walk for DACA, I was denied at two different locations, and had to find third one to finally be able to complete the check up.

I have the same issue. I have my appt July 29th which is one week, I want to do a walk in, since last time I was the ONLY one there getting my biometrics done that day. I live in NY and will be in TX for work and my appt is in the middle of the week when I am there. I am going tomorrow to do a walk in here at my NY office to see if I can get that done before I leave. Hoping there is no issue there, and can get my Biometrics done before I leave. WISH ME LUCK *scared out of my mind*!

UPDATE : Just walked out of my Biometrics appt. The staff was very helpful and understanding that i would be away, i got my biometrics done a week before my acyual appt. It all depends on the staff working. I am so thankful it was the same people from 2 yrs ago. GOOD LUCK! ��

I did a walk-in for my first card (the office was dead empty at that time) with no problems.

When I tried to do a walk-in for the second time, the office was crammed with people and they asked me to come back another day. I just waited the few weeks for my official time.

update i walked in yesterday was out there within 40 minutes the staff was very friendly and helpful.
