buying a car.

Have you bought a car straight from the dealer and approved right on the spot?

I wanna get this 2014 honda civic exl. its price at $15,7xx with 13k miles. Its so tempting to swing by the dealer but im afraid of being rejected =p

Re: buying a car.

I recently got approved by Toyota Financial Services for 0% APR on a brand new car. For a deal like this, yes you might run into problems because the fact of the matter is that your current DACA is for about 2 years or less and loans like these are for like 36 or 48 months. Now, that does not mean you can't be eligible. If the dealer you are working with pulls some strings and gets his finance department to really talk to the finance company (Like Toyota Financial Services in my case), you can get approved no problem at all. Other than that, the other sure fire way to get approved for a loan is to go through a CREDIT UNION. That's what I did for my first car which was used. But you would be subject to like 3-6% APR. That shouldn't be a problem if your loan is a small amount. You can afford that. For your case, I strongly suggest you go to a credit union. Good luck.

Thinking of getting a car soon as well, your CS is so good mine is not as good beause of my CCs trying to pay them down as much as I can before applying for a Loan. I just renewed my EAD and was thinking of getting a New car for the New Year. There should be pretty good deals by December/January so hopefully will get one by then. :)
