Let's brain storm...

Hypothetically, if DACA is killed. Will you go underground? I assume there will be a trade-off, they can't possibly deport 1+ million lives?

If DACA goes into the juggling actions of the Republican majority, will you actually move out?

Ive lived off with a 12k annual salary, and i lived with a 40k post-daca salary.

Yes, this is going to be really damaging, but i have money saved and I established my credit, and at least I have a Social Security Number and an Identification.

Things that i never even had before daca.

Hoping for the best, preparing for the worst.

Hopefully by 2020, I'll have a green card. Of course now, even an AoS is up in the air... but I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. In the meantime, save as much as possible and figure out plan a, b, and c

I guess I'm getting married. I thought I was too cool for it, but I might have to. It's with a person I love deeply so I am very happy to do it and he's willing. I hope I can protect my family during those 4 years until we get to 2020. That's my main concern.

The funny thing about my situation is that I may be able to outlast 8 years of Trump.

I would need Trump to let our current EAD expire, so that puts me toward the end of 2018, then I take 4-5 years off of work to go to college and hopefully graduate as an Engineer or Accountant...

...at that point I would then hope for a Democrat to win in 2024.

Although, this would only work if Trump doesn't go around deporting everyone.

And this is based on him winning re-election in 2020...so if an immigrant friendly Democrat wins in 2020, then even better.
