Yes, how you're going to pay for it a whole other issue. If you get in, talk to them about your situation (if you didn't already put it in your essay) and hopefully they'll work with you on financing your education.

You can apply anywhere... getting in is a whole different story. And affording it is a whole other story.

From what I have seen, private schools don't care about status. And if they (or public schools) ask for documents, explain your situation... usually they will understand.
