Employment Question
Hi guys,
So I have a recruiter trying to place me in one of the fortune 500 companies and this is what she asked me. What is the proper response to her email as I am trying to avoid to specifically say that I'm on DACA as she might drop me as soon as she knows but seems like I have to mention? "Just to clarify – Are you on a student Visa right now which allows your work authorization OR are you in the process of getting a EAD/Green Card?" Thanks in advance! |
Re: Employment Question
Tell her you're in the process of getting a presidential pardon.

Re: Employment Question
Is that an in-house recruiter? If so, it's illegal for her to ask.

There are companies that do not want to hire 2 year people that will need sponsorship. |
Re: Employment Question
I have never been asked that by recruiters, but I think you should tell her that you are not on student Visa and that you already have EAD - if you in dact have the work permit.
