NSA surveillance and DACA delays?

Conspiracy theorist in me is telling me maybe some of the DACA renewals are lagging (on those stuck on adjudication review due to background checks) thanks in part to the sweeping surveillance of communication done on foreigners w/o the need of a court order. So if you've done illegal stuff online (downloading protected material, hacking), visited 'suspect' websites (think alt-right, or anarchist-like), or maybe been disparaging of the government (when speaking to a family member abroad), then maybe you've exposed yourself to further scrutiny to defense/justice agencies.

I've personally been pretty vocal about all the BS we have to go through due to politics....and know plenty of ppl who can't afford HBO

I'm particularly interested of online use of those who have received super quick approvals and those who are stuck in adjudication.

Should we put on our tin foil hats?

Preposterous. Completely ridiculous. The government doesn't care about illegals.
I'm one of the most vocal anti-government types and my stuff is super duper quick. I don't have to worry about any RFE, cause I get a certified school transcript and mail it in to them with my application.

They can tap all my lines and all my data, They know what I do, I know what they do, they know I know. Doesn't mean I care. Whatever, just give me my DACA. Does it matter if our data is inspected? I would run a line from the NSA to my house, so they get a better data tap and can tap more effectively, as long as my DACA got here.

Is the signal quality good enough you guys??? Need me to turn a little to the left, spread a little wider?? I don't really care, and the apathy is because were at their mercy, and we have DACA, purely out of a last ditch effort.

Always. A RFE is not a thought that goes through my head cause any RFE that may appear, which never does, is handled on site with the application.

Doubt it. I kinda think it's cuz I've moved a lot throughout the years.

My situation has never been RFE and my paperwork has always been on point. It's dragging to 4 1/2 months now. My experience has been ~4 month turnaround.

Nebraska?

I did move and only let them know when I renewed. Something to keep in mind next time I move I guess.

I sent my application the first week of November and did my fingerprints a week ago I just checked my case online and it says that my work permit was granted and is under production as for my DACA it still says it's being process but it should be granted soon. I have never had a problem with it. The first time it did take several months but renewal has been fairly quick. My sisters also has been quick but not like mine she did have a minor miss demeanor but no problems at all. I really don't think they are putting all that much effort into each case unless it's something really bad or you were caught and charged with something.

Hi everyone, I have a quick question. USCIS recommends sending our renewals 4-5 months before expiring, I've seen other websites that say that they recommend sending 6 months before expiring. My EAD expires on June 17. Should i go ahead and send the renewal package or am I risking it?

Any input will be appreciated..

I'd say 6 months or when you get your notice (it's a crapshoot now and you have plenty of members waiting that long). For reference, USCIS says they're processing cases from June at this point. Also, seems like a few members have been getting permits w/the correct expiration (as opposed to losing months if approved earlier).
