Do I qualify for DACA? No DL, Accident, Warrant.

I'm planning on applying for this soon. The one thing that discourages me is the moral character part. I got in a car wreck (my fault) and went to court for it. On my ticket it didn't say i was in a car accident though, just that I had no DL and improper driving. My fine was for about $500. I paid about $110 of it the first month, second month i couldn't pay. Obviously can't have a solid job. So a warrant was issued. I plan on paying it in full once my bf gets taxes back from claiming my son and I. Do you guys think i mat still qualify even though I was caugh with NO DL in a state that doesn't allow me to get one and had a warrant?

New DACA applications are not recommend at this time.

I wasn't aware of this. But why exactly?

Jan 20th is approaching and it's likely that DACA will be rescinded by the President. Congress may pay pass legislation to replace DACA but nothing is guaranteed.

Meanwhile you should save up some money and possibly hire a lawyer to get your situation fixed.

Don't apply! Specially because you have a warrant. Instead, wait and see what trump ends up doing with DACA.

Warrant was issued but you didn't walk into talk to them? or was it settled?
If there is warrant out for your arrest, you need to figure that out first girl. Don't take that lightly. If warrant was issued for failing to pay the fine, you need to go in and speak to them.

I had a warrant for failure to pay. I paid and appeard in front of a judge. It was taken care of.

I took care of it as soon as i could. I paid it off, appeard in front of a judge and it was taken care of.

USCIS doesn't consider traffic violations as criminal offenses (unless its DUI). As long as you qualify for DACA, you getting a record because of not having a license isn't going to disqualify you.

I agree with Malignon, this doesn't disqualify you. I would apply asap.
