I listened for 14 minutes and got too anxious to continue. "We will hire Americans. Make decisions to benefit the jobs of Americans" and so on.

Well, to be fair, this is their country. Dreamers are just foreigners who were unfortunately brought up to this situation. Be thankful for DACA and other immigration related policies because other countries would have deported dreamers almost immediately. Remember beggars can't be choosers.

Meanwhile, try to find a solution that will grant you permanent residence like I did when I was sponsored for the F2A visa. Try to marry someone or if you have US citizen sibling, wait until they're 21 so that they can petition you. Or, if you're super talented in your career apply for an employment visa. Nevertheless, I wish there wasn't a huge backlog for visas for particular countries.

Why would we need DACA if we can just "try to find a solution that will grant you permanent residence"? This is the same bs as "just get to the back of the line".
