Context: This is in regards with the softer tone Trump and his administration have presented themselves since the 60 Minutes interview; in regards with deporting (just/only?) criminal illegals as their top priority. And with the recent first press briefing by Spicer (more here)

Well, I can't help but wonder. This guy IS unpredictable. So honestly I feel like it could go either way. Anyways, I'm just curious how you guys would think of him if he ever does that.

It still wouldn't change my view point about him. Dividing a country has its consequences. Just because he grants me a green card, I cannot selfishly be pro-trump. What about all those people loosing health insurance that will actually die. What about Women's rights? What about Muslims who have had to face the backlash? what about LGBTQ rights?

The only semi-legitamate point you've made is about Muslims. However a majority of Muslim Immigrants and "refugees" from pro-Islamic countries simply can not assimilate into this society/culture or really any society culture outside their own.

There are statistical analytics taken from high concentrated Islamic countries like Afghanistan, Iraq etc. which show they are all highly in favor of Sharia Law, and many other notions that highly conflict with today's society and morals that we hold in the Western world.

I for one am not opposed to halting immigration from those countries until we sort the Islamic State problem the world faces. As Trump said in his campaign, it would be a "temporary" ban. In other words a halt.

Edit: It's also funny because Donald Trump has not once called or divided this country. That is entirely the Left who has done so.

Don't take my word for it, look at all the Racial division ever since Obama was elected. You would think a Black, Left wing president would have mended such racial relations in the country. Yet they only got 1000x worse. Go figure.

How exactly has Obama divided this country? Lol Does speaking out against police brutality and Islamophobia count as dividing the country? Racial division went up with Obama because the racist republicans were too upset about having a black president that they had to let their anger out somehow. While Trump has not taken away any women's rights yet, he has been proven to be a misogynist with absolutely no respect for women.

The problem wasn't Obama.. The problem with people is he was black and we still have people who can't come to terms with a black president. It is the both Left and Right who are so divided that they are attacking each other instead of working with each other.
