Hi everybody,

Just wondering if anyone who has had their AP case received in the Nebraska processing center in November and has been approved yet? My husband sent his in late October and they received it in November. However, we haven't heard anything since then. We are concerned..

they received mine around august 25 and they approved me around january second week for 3 months. just waiting 3 more weeks before i travel.

has your husband done his biometrics?

We were told by the lawyer that he didn't need to do them over again since they should already have his fingerprints from when he applied for his DACA renewal.

Update: So we checked online today and now it says request for additional evidence was mailed today..We are wondering what it could be? we mailed the following:
The application fee
Proof of DACA
Letter from doctors stating my father-in-law's diagnosis
Letter stating why my husband wants to visit his father
Birth certificate
Passport photos
Passport copy

im not sure if you guys sent fathers birth certificate or his passport ...ect. seems like they just want to see fathers identifiaction pretty much.

That makes no sense..they both have the same last name. His name is on the birth certificate already as the father of my husband. His name is all over the official hospital documents.

are you sure that make no sense? I'm telling you my own story. i had my grandmas name all over on the documents and they still ask me to prove relationship. so when you ask for suggestion her on forum then dont tell others that make no sense. thank you very much.

The lawyer told us we didn't need his father's identification because of the same last name and because it already says his name on the birth certificate which proves the relationship as his father. It would be different story if it were his grandma, because he would have to prove that it is his father's or mother's mom. We were originally going to use AP to visit my grandma, so the lawyer had told us we would need my mom's birth certificate in order to prove that is my grandmas
