Mock Senate
 

So for AP Government, we are holding a mock senate, which in my opinion is pointless and dumb because the AP test is coming up and our teacher is not teaching, instead we are doing a mock senate. Anyway every student is required to present a bill, and you can guess what my bill was about. It's basically the DREAM Act, except I changed a few things around and named it the Legalization for Alien Minors Act of 2008...:lol: So as part of our grade for presenting this bill to the "Senate," we have to write up a speech and provide a visual aid. I have no problem with writing a speech, but I cannot for the life of me think of a visual aid. I thought about drawing an arrow that says, "this is my life" on a poster board pointing to me as I make my speech. :lol: I mean I am a live visual! However I don't think my teacher will approve that.

So does anyone have a suggestion as to what I can do?

Hey if your teacher would let you use a computer or something, then the perfect visual would obviously be Papa Durbin's speech. See if that doesn't get them to think twice! Hopefully she'll let you do it. Let me know if you can't find the link, but YouTube's got it.

You should do like a slide show, using pics something along these lines... these pics are posted all over the net so i don't think you would be violating any privacy or watever. I think free's idea is the best though.
