California Renew License Early
 

I just received my notice from the DMV to renew my license early via mail. I first applied for DACA and got approved in April of 2013. When I got my drivers license it was for a 4 year term, my ID expires next year.

My DACA expires on April 15th, awaiting my renewal, and my DL expires on May 24th.

Anyone try to renew their DL via mail?

My first renewal was a simple 2 year extension (done via mail). They sent me a form to fill out and instructions to return with copy of approval. After the 2 years DMV told me to go to a physical DMV to renew. Showed them my docs and got a 5 year one in the mail.

did it all online now so i dont have to take a test again. got approved with new CA DL in 2 weeks.

What do y'all think? Should I just try re early renew and see if they request any updated docs?

Why not.
If they do, you can just get a license without the EAD anyways. (Remember they changed this law last year in California)
