Texas ID question.
 

My DACA expired on 4-07-2017 but 3 days prior I received my work employment card. Although i received my work authorization, my DACA is still pending. My DL expired on the 7th as well and was wondering if I could go renew it with my DACA still processing. Thanks for any answers!

I doubt it because Texas doesn't issue cards even if your visa expires less than 6 months. Call the DPS and make sure at least.

That's strange your DACA is still pending since your EAD approval is based on your DACA approval. Have you tried calling USCIS to see if there's a glitch? If you have everything you need with the physical EAD to get a renewed driver's license, I would give it a try. The worst that will happen is they tell you to come back.
