How do you expedite AP application?
I'm in the interview process for a job that would need me to go to Europe for training in my first 6 weeks. Ideally, I would like to get this started now even if I don't get the job. Mostly to be on the safe side because they would probably have me start a couple weeks after interviewing.
I have seen posts where the entire process took less than a month to over three months. I'm hoping mine would be a month or less. My gf also told me I could go to some USCIS office in tucson and have it done in person there. Anybody heard of this before? She used to work at a lawyer's office so I'm assuming that's how she knows this. Last thing: How should I approach my employer about giving me evidence that they are sending me out of the country for work related reasons? I'd rather not have to tell them I need to apply for AP because I have an EAD and can't travel out of the country. This job sounds pretty freaking amazing so I'd rather not lose a chance at it because of this. Oh! If I got the job, I would travel out of the country often to visit customer sites. If any people have been in a situation like this, please chime in! Thanks! |
Re: How do you expedite AP application?
I actually just submitted my AP app so I would be interested in this too. I instructed that I needed the expedited AP approval but if anything can speed up the process...that would be super helpful!!!! I don't mind going to USCIS office to do so!
