Alright fellas, Apologize in advance if there's been a thread on this but I can't find it. WHO here went out on AP and came back recently after Trump took office? I really can't take it anymore. I've got plenty of vacation days lined up. It's been freakin 17 years since I left my country. A round trip to Nairobi would run me around $800 which is freakin awesome but obviously slightly nervous with the crazy businessman in office. Looks to me like AP and DACA are still running full throttle. I'd HIGHLY APPRECIATE responses from those who've gone out on AP and returned after Trump took office and where you came in. I'd be flying out and in of JFK, New York.

i went to Pakistan middle of march to mid April. i was out exactly for 30 days and i flew from jfk as well. they never asked me any question from here to Pakistan. when i cam back no question at all but officer took around 10 minutes before she stamped my documents and apologized that it took few minutes. so my brother go ahead and no need to worry. good luck

Is your EAD renewal still pending also? It might be best to get that approved first before traveling.

Na man I'm good till 2018. I'm just a lazy ass. My signature is like decades old lol. Yeah I've been out in AP twice. You really need to be 100% careful and sure that you have all documents with you when boarding and arriving.

I have my own CPA firm. I'd like to go to an Audit Seminar to expand my knowledge on global Audit/accounting issues for my firm.

And honestly DACA and AP seem to be running just fine but common man there's some turbulence out there. The businessman is quite erratic. Not trying to start shit right now. I'll give it a shot. You only live once.

you welcome bro. by the way they know everything about us. they are giving us clearance because we don't have any criminal history. they know we are paying taxes. why would they kick us out. honestly speaking, since i got my daca, my life has changed a lot. good job, paying taxes, fixed my entry, going to buy house soon, no criminal history. thank god for all that. i encourage all daca recipient to fix your entry if possible and not to worry about detain or deportation unless you have some sort of criminal history or removal orders. good luck to all of us.

Everything you said is correct except the taxes part. They don't care about this. INS and IRS functions are completely different. But you are 100% right on the criminal record/removal orders. If you have these marvelous things under your belt, I would be very very careful because shit can get bad for you. I have been out on AP twice, both times through New York, no issues so hoping for the best!
