Interesting move. They tied the ammendment to wall funding and immigration enforcement. (3rd paragraph)

Wow what a bunch of asshole these Republicans are.. this is just a distraction. Yet they don't add something to the dream act. That baby is dead, there is nothing that can be done. Mitochondrial anything tends to be genetic.

What don't they the the republican thing and pray...

That ought to go better than what they are trying to do at this point..

Relax peeps. A private bill means it is ment for a specific person; not a general group. In this case, it is for the baby and his parents.

Additionally, it still needs to go to the house and senate before it becomes law which may not happen.

That baby deserves a chance to live if there's an experimental drug here. I just brought it up because who would vote against a dying baby; that's tactics right there.

Research the diseases, basically that baby would become a lab rat.

It is a selfish act.. meant to distract.

Poor kid, let him rest.

Yea you would be the type to give up and follow what the government tells you to do. I bet you quintuple check your taxes too.

His parents have the right to seek better treatment for their sick child without any intervention of the useless government. That judge would do the EXACT same thing if he/she/it were in their shoes.

Following orders is for chumps.

It's not what the government tells me, it is science, and common sense.
