Vegas Trip
Hey Guys, I just have a question. I'm planning to go Los Vegas next August 15. I'll be flying from LAX to Las Vegas airport. Is there anything I need to worry about? I have DACA and I'll be taking my EDA with me. But with all the crazy things going with DACA, would I say I am safe to go?

Re: Vegas Trip
you can travel domestially even with out DACA.. all you need is a valid DL. And even if you don't have that, passport from your home country works just as well.
have fun! |
Re: Vegas Trip
You'll be okay - the only place where they check IDs is when you go through TSA. So long as you have a valid ID, you'll be okay. Don't even show them the EAD - show them your state driver's license or state ID (if you have no license). They don't check your ID against any sort of database so it's not like they're going to know that you're on DACA.

Re: Vegas Trip
Don't take your EAD.

Re: Vegas Trip
Are you marrying a USC in Vegas?

Re: Vegas Trip
Thank you for your input guys.
I'm not getting married in Vegas. This is kind of like a get away trip. |
Re: Vegas Trip
I've done that trip many times. No problems at all. I'll be there a week after you!
I do have a question about going to the grand canyon from vegas (maybe we can avoid making another thread). Anything I should be worried about as a DACA holder with a final order traveling via tour bus from vegas to south rim? |
Re: Vegas Trip
I've been to Vegas many times. I don't find Vegas attractive anymore. It is just a lusty whore out for your money.

Re: Vegas Trip
I just flew from LAX to Buffalo, New York & back and it went without a hitch. They just ask for your ID and boarding pass. In my case, a state ID. You'll be fine.
