Approved AP, valid EAD. Traveling after DACA rescinded announcement??

Ok. So with the announcement of trump administration trying to ruin our lives by rescinding DACA, I don't know what to do with my approved AP for travel in Dec/Jan. I read that all of our benefits from DACA are still valid until we expire, but know I just don't trust traveling, even thou it would help clear my EWI, then I could Adjust through my usc husband. Please share your thoughts

I would call an immigration lawyer so you can call in case anything happens.

Hi,

So I got my approval letter for AP on 9/6, I too am supposed to travel in the middle of Dec for school. I spoke to my lawyer and he said as long as you have a clean record and no deportation orders you should be fine. I am going to take a letter from HR stating I have a full time job here, a bill just in case I need to prove I do in fact live here, and my DACA approval letter. Honestly, you have to just go with your gut feeling. No one can really tell you what you should do, I have researched this for months now and am still even debating whether I should go or not. However, I do realized this is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Dept of Homeland Security does state that they will "generally" honor any approved AP that had already been approved prior to Sept 5th, but that it is still up to the agent at border patrol and customs to determine if you are admissible, however, the AP application states the same so no changes there.

From USCIS:

•Will not approve any new Form I-131 applications for advance parole under standards associated with the DACA program, although it will generally honor the stated validity period for previously approved applications for advance parole. Notwithstanding the continued validity of advance parole approvals previously granted, U.S. Customs and Border Protection will—of course—retain the authority it has always had and exercised in determining the admissibility of any person presenting at the border and the eligibility of such persons for parole. Further, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services will—of course—retain the authority to revoke or terminate an advance parole document at any time.
•Will administratively close all pending Form I-131 applications for advance parole filed under standards associated with the DACA program, and will refund all associated fees.
•Will continue to exercise its discretionary authority to terminate or deny deferred action for any reason, at any time, with or without notice.

Hey, I made a post about coming back with AP days after the announcement. It was pretty easy going through immigration
