Car Insurance without a license?
Ok so I saw this small car insurance place that's located in my neighborhood and they have a sign that says you could get car insurance without having a license? If this is possible, would the insurance cover me if I were to get in an accident or get pulled over?

Re: Car Insurance without a license?
It sounds odd. I don't think its real insurance. Some states have laws prohibiting insurance coverage to unlicensed drivers. If your state has such a law, then legally they can't cover you or they are running a shady business. If you were to get in an accident, you most likely won't be able to claim insurance.
If it is a legitimate business, then the insurance rates are going to be outrageous. |

Yeah that's what I thought. The insurance place has been there for years now, but just now it says that you can get a policy without a license so long you have a licensed driver on your policy. Although my mom said that she saw some guy get a policy just with his consular ID card.

I kind of have to. I don't have any other way of transportation. Thank God that nothing bad has happened since I started driving. I have my car insured though if I would feel more comfortable if my name were on the policy.
