199 Co-Sponsons on the DA Bill: Only Need 19 More needed to pass the House

Saw this on Reddit tonight and was able to confirm it.

https://www.congress.gov/bill/115th-...440/cosponsors

Only 19 more Republicans are needed, which could be achieved with negotiations and adding border security to the bill. This gives me a little bit of hope after the CIYJA drama.

Obviously the Bill would have to be brought to the floor, and the more Republicans Representatives we can get on our side, the better.

The problem in the house is the hasert rule. Ryan has already indicated he wants a bill that is suporrted by the majority of Republicans in the house to be brought to a vote... we can easily get 19 republicans... the problem is bringing it to a vote.

If you understand politic you should know that you need to get through the Senate and potus for there to be a law. This is not gonna be happen without some border security or more. Hope I'm wrong.

There are 32 cosponsors for RACA and 97 for the ENLIST Act. If something doesn't pass to help us before March 5, it won't be because we didn't have the votes. I'm hopefully we can get most of these republicans to support whatever a final bill looks like...

Rider on a larger bill, whereas the Speaker decides what gets brought up to the vote, he has no say in the amending process.

If DA doesn't get a vote soon it will be attached to some must pass legislation. I feel like it will pass in the house by a minor margin, remember in 2010 it passed with 216 votes with a whole lot of non-voting and absentions. I feel like the same will happen in 2017, that it will get through the house with a few on the fences just deciding to sit the vote out.

Senate as usual, will be trickier. If there's a disagreement there will be a conference committee but democrats can vote the conference bill down should the committee not include Dream Act. The committee has to basically find a common ground between the two bills, and if DA is out then Dems are not supporting it anymore, and the Freedumb Caucus won't agree to a budget without slashing so much stuff that the moderates will say no thanks.

The last few votes always hold the most leverage on issues. Joe Lieberman was the reason why we didn't just get universal healthcare passed in 2010. He was the 60th vote needed.
