AoS through marriage in Orlando, FL

Hello All,

Just wondering if anyone out there had any idea how long the wait for the interview is in Orlando, FL. My wife and I sent our application in December 2017. In early January, we did a change of address since we moved from NJ to Florida. A few weeks ago I received my EAD. I guess now the last thing to get is the interview date, anyone have any idea when I can expect to receive that and how far away it might be?

Thanks!

I have one question...how do you KNOW USCIS has actually changed the address for your case on ALL forms?

Please please please make sure you keep up with your status online. My husband and I moved in the middle of our AOS process, and we got a verification letter to our new address stating that it had been processed. We thought it was smooth sailing. We were checking the status online a few times a week, and our status changed to interview schedule, along with the date, and saying we would get a letter in the mail. It was about a week and a half before the interview, and we got nothing in the mail. We called them, and they said they would fax us a new letter, but then later they said they couldn't, and would have to mail us one again.

Long story short, we got the letter in the mail the day before the actual interview. When we were in the interview, our officer was verifying our address to make sure the GC didn't get lost in the mail like the last letter, and we found a mistake... An address was not changed on one form and that's why we didn't get the first letter. If the second one hadn't come in the day before the interview, we would have had to be sent to the back of the queue and rescheduled.

Stay on top on it! Check the status at least 3x a week, and don't wait as long as we did to call if you don't get the letter within a week and a half o the status changing online. I hope my experience spares you some trouble! Everything worked out fine, and we were approved at the end of our interview, but we were both very stressed leading up to the interview.
