Married to USC. Change name on USCIS forms?

Just married a USC.

Now going to apply to adjust status.

Should I take the last name of my spouse or not?

Will it create more problems on my paperwork for USCIS as All my documentation is under my maiden name and in their system as well?

Would it be easier just to stick to my maiden name?

The decision is really up to you. But im gonna tell you changing your last name will be a headache. If you do though, write you new last name on the forms because once you get yout EAD and GC that will be your name.

Like AleiaTheEnchanted said above, it is all up to you. I can tell you what I did and see if that helps...Immediately after we got married three years ago I changed my last name on my social security card (took my marriage certificate down to the social security office). The receipt I received from there was what I used to change my name at work. Then after getting my new social security card, I changed my last name with the DMV on my Driver's License. I was able to then use my new ID in changing my last name on my bank account. It was not a long process at all. 2 months later we had already sent out our Adjustment of Status paperwork. I also presented our marriage certificate to the consulate of my country of birth here in the US which enabled them to change my last name on my passport. On the Adjustment of Status paperwork I also listed my maiden name under "Other" names used. Hope this helps. Never had any issues with immigration about my name change, they understand as long as you document everything properly.
