When to renew given today's circumstances ?

So my EAD expires in Sep 2019. When should I send in my renewal so as to maximize the time period of my DACA benefits while minimizing the risk of not being able to renew due to any counter lawsuit, final decision against the program by the 9th circuit or any other court ?

If we knew that, we wouldn't have all applied well before our expiration date and lost out on months. The only thing you can do is speculate.

No body knows.

Seems to me you just renewed 6 months ago. Might be an overkill to send it now. Or, it might get you another year.

I'm asking for a ballpark date, eg: before winter.

Hello Pinguin man!

I also expire Sep 2019 after getting approved with an expunged DUI.

I will send my renewal on or about Sep 2018. I read somewhere that it will be up to a year before the case reaches the Supreme Court.

Mine expires on Sept 2019 as well. I am still deciding about when should I submit my renewal. What is the situation we are facing now ? When do we expect Supreme Court to rule on the case?

It's just a lot of uncertainty , it is driving me crazy

i was about to send my renewal next week, i expire nov 2018 but after SCOTUS decision i called my lawyer to hold off and just sit on it.

it will be a year and a half till SCOTUS takes up the case.

Did your lawyer give you any profession advise regarding renewal ?

they suggested to wait till the 150 day mark but i was willing to bypass that and go with my gut.

i was delaying it till a SCOTUS decision to take up the case and when they decided not to take up the case till nxt yr, i told my lawyer to just sit on my application.

Don't we have Paxton down in Texas to worry about? Also, the court of appeals in California.
