Traveling to Puerto Rico

Hi guys, my grandfather just passed away and he lives in Puerto Rico. I know that Puerto Rico is still the US, but with the way things are now I don't know what to do. Has anyone been to Puerto Rico after this whole Trump administration and him taking DACA away? I know it technically is still sort of back on, but it's not like before.

Can anyone please share their experience traveling to Puerto Rico within the last few weeks?

Thank you!

Sorry to hear about your grandfather. Traveling to Puerto Rico right now is just like traveling to another state. Go without hesitating. Don't worry. Have a safe trip.

Let us know how it goes if you do travel there. I wouldn't mind traveling to Puerto Rico one day.

I'm in Puerto Rico right now. It's just like traveling to a US state. You do not go through an international checkup. I was here 2 years ago and the process is pretty much the same. I've also been to the islands of Vieques and Culebra and no one checks your passport in the ferry.

Curious, are you PR? If so, how did you lose status?

Not a PR, or ever been one. My grandfather lived there, but I was not born there.

Thanks, this gives me some peace.

Awesome man. I am actually going to be hitting up Culebra when I get there. I hear you have to be at the Ferry several hours before hand to get a ticket.

Any recommendations on what to do there? Just making a day trip out of this.

I'm actually planning to go to PR this summer and was curious as well. Has anyone experience Bioluminescent Bay?

I heard it was alright. I'm trying to check it out, but I won't be going during a good time.

You really have to pay attention to the moon schedule. The best time to go is during a new moon, when the sky is darker. Check out this site for more info:
