I consider vast majority of people to be quite fucking stupid. Does it make me a bad person to be mean to people who I consider to be unintelligent? My gf thinks I should refrain from being mean to others, especially in social settings...

It's just so fucking hard.... Every time I hear a dumb conversation take place, I just can't help but to let the responsible parties know just how fucking unintelligent they are. I know this tends to sour moods but I honestly don't think this is a bad thing. I literally don't have a single dumb friend in my social circle. Literally all my closest friends are way above average intelligence but I feel like this doesn't justify me being an asshole to other acquaintances. I've always been this way ever since I was a kid. Am I too late to change?

I don’t think it’s a huge deal. I think as long as you accept that people won’t find you as amicable as they may find others, you should be yourself. If, however, your behavior is getting in the way of your happiness, you might consider changing it.

Yea, I am not sure if I am just being an old man but I hear people in their 30s (in my reserve unit) talk to each other and laugh at something so stupid.

But again I am 28 and all my friends are in their 35s and are all professionals.
