Are you happy in your current city?
I lived in LA growing up, went to high school there. Then moved up to the San Francisco Bay area and fell in love with the place.
At the end of last year, my work relocated me back to LA. I went with it because it was an amazing opportunity professionally. I'm loving my work, but I'm not liking LA at all. It's way too big, dirty, crowded, and getting from one place to another sucks some sweaty balls. I can say fuc* it and just stay in LA because my happiness shouldn't depend on where I am? I'm thinking of asking my company to let me transfer up to the Bay area. Somehow SF meshes with what I'm looking for in a city. Before moving to LA, I never imagined how you can connect with a city so much that living in a different city can seem like hell. Are you happy in your city? Would you leave it? |

Re: Are you happy in your current city?
Happiness absolutely depends on where you live. I hate NYC and I'm moving to San Diego.

I fucking love West LA. Santa Monica and the neighborhoods near Venice/Marina Del Rey. It’s not like a safe ass suburb but it’s a pretty nice area. |

I live in S.E Michigan. I hate it so much, but job pays a lot and it is hard to find technical engineering work outside of the auto industry.
I miss Chicago so much I have to go there at least twice a month. |
